Lavilletertre is a French municipality with 534 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes du Vexin Thelle and the canton of Chaumont-en-Vexin .

The municipality with the districts of Romesnil and Saint-Cyr-sur-Chars is largely east of the Viosne river and its tributary Ruisseau d'Arnoye. The railway line from Paris to Dieppe runs through them; Lavilletertre has a train station. It is located around nine kilometers south-southeast of Chaumont-en-Vexin on the former Route nationale 15 .

history

Lavilletertre was the capital of a canton from 1790 to 1801. In 1823 Saint-Cyr-sur-Chars was united with the municipality.
