Valdampierre is a French municipality with 936 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes des Sablons and the canton of Chaumont-en-Vexin .

geography

The municipality with the districts of Les Marettes, La Rachie and Le Val de Pouilly is almost entirely west of the A16 autoroute below the level of the Pays de Bray .

history

In 1900 a mother-of-pearl button factory was opened. The buildings were demolished in 2001.
