Villers-sur-Auchy is a French municipality with 374 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes du Pays de Bray and the canton of Grandvilliers .

geography

The municipality in the Pays de Bray is located on the border with Normandy about seven kilometers east of Gournay-en-Bray and ten kilometers southwest of Songeons . The municipality is u. a. drained via the Ruisseau du Vieux Moulin and the Ruisseau d'Auchy to the Epte . The hamlets of Auchy and Orsimont belong to the municipality.

history

The basic rule was in the Middle Ages in the Benedictine abbey of Saint-Lucien in Beauvais . Auchy was united with Villers in 1826.
