Castle of Mercastel

Vermont Villers- is a French municipality with 124 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes de la Picardie Verte and the canton of Grandvilliers .

geography

The municipality, to which part of the Bois de Mercastel forest belongs, is located around twelve kilometers south of Formerie and south of Thérain on the border with the Seine-Maritime department . Parts of the municipality are the castle of Mercastel and the hamlets or groups of houses Le Quesnoy, Le Mont Hénot, Le Mont Hulin, La Ferrière and Les Frais Lieux. In the west, the municipal border towards Doudeauville and Haussez is noticeably irregular.
