Le Hamel is a French municipality with 183 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes de la Picardie Verte and the canton of Grandvilliers .

geography

The agricultural community is located around four kilometers southeast of Grandvilliers on the D151 département road to Crèvecœur-le-Grand on the plateau. The municipality includes the hamlets of Rieux in the east and La Maison Blanche towards the municipality of Grez, which was separated in 1832 . Le Hamel also includes the Le Moulin Thénard homestead.
