Standards for museums

The standards for museums is a handout that was published by the German Museum Association together with ICOM Germany in February 2006. It is intended to provide an orientation for qualified museum work in the more than 6,300 museums in Germany. The formulated standard values ​​are intended to consolidate the position of museums of all collection areas, sizes, support forms and regions and serve them as guidelines for their daily work.
