Mortefontaine-en-Thelle is a French municipality with 913 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes Thelloise and the canton of Chaumont-en-Vexin .

The municipality, bordered in the east by the former Route nationale 1 , on the edge of the plateau of the Pays de Thelle with the district La Mare d'Ovillers is located around six kilometers northeast of Méru and seven kilometers south of Noailles .
