Hannaches is a French municipality with 141 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes de la Picardie Verte and the canton of Grandvilliers .
geography
The municipality in the Pays de Bray is located on the border with the Normandy region around nine kilometers south-southwest of Songeons . It includes the hamlets of Épluques, Bellefontaine, Mourseux, Pierrepont, Mont de Vaux and Bazincourt. The municipality is mainly drained by the Ruisseau du Vieux Moulin and the Ruisseau d'Auchy rivers to the Epte .
Toponymy and History
The community name is derived from the Germanic word hanap (hemp).
Gallo-Roman pottery was found in the municipality. In the Middle Ages it belonged to three different lords. The rule came in 1480 to Georges de Bissipat , a Byzantine nobleman.
