Doméliers is a French municipality with 248 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes de l'Oise Picarde and the canton of Saint-Just-en-Chaussée .

The municipality, a street village, is located on the plateau of the Plateau Picard around eight kilometers east-northeast of Crèvecœur-le-Grand on the D541 departmental road, which branches off from the D930 (formerly Route nationale 30 ) , which borders the municipality in the south . Dry valleys lead in the direction of the Selle , which flows into the Somme .

Toponymy and History

The community name should be derived from the Latin term Duumvillare.

In the Middle Ages, the stones for the construction of Amiens Cathedral are said to have been broken here.
