The municipality is located in the Avelon valley , into which the Ru d'Auneuil brook flows, which receives the Ruisseau de Friancourt brook . The southwest of the municipality is traversed by the route nationale 31 , which has been developed as an expressway and which also forms the European route 46 . The abandoned railway lines from Goincourt to Gournay-Ferrières and Gisors run through the municipality .
