Énencourt-le-Sec is a commune Déléguée in the French municipality of La Corne en Vexin with 188 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France .

The Commune déléguée is located around 5.5 km north-northwest of Chaumont-en-Vexin .
Toponymy
The place name is derived from the Germanic personal name Herinand, the addition le-Sec means "dry" (in contrast to the "humid" Énencourt-Léage ) on the Aunette .
history
The rule came in the 18th century to the Princes of Conti , who sold it in 1782.
The municipality of Énencourt-le-Sec merged with Hardivillers-en-Vexin and Boissy-le-Bois to form the Commune nouvelle La Corne en Vexin on January 1, 2019 . Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Énencourt-le-Sec belonged to the Arrondissement of Beauvais and was part of the Communauté de communes du Vexin Thelle and the canton of Chaumont-en-Vexin .
