The Petit Thérain (German: Kleiner Thérain ) is a river in France that runs in the Oise department in the Hauts-de-France region . It rises in the municipality of Omécourt , generally drains in a south-easterly direction and flows into the Thérain as a left tributary after 21 kilometers in the municipality of Milly-sur- Thérain .

In Marseille-en-Beauvaisis , the Petit Thérain receives the 2.3-kilometer-long Herboval brook, and the Herperie brook in Saint-Omer-en-Chaussée as a left tributary.
