The Troësne (also: Troesne ) is a river in France that runs in the Hauts-de-France and Normandy regions. It rises in the municipality of Hénonville , generally drains north-west to west and flows into the Epte after 27 kilometers in the urban area of Gisors as a left tributary . In the upper reaches, the river is canalized and bears the name Canal de Marquemont , only from Chaumont-en-Vexin is it known by its real name. On its way, the Troësne crosses the Oise and Eure departments .

In the municipality of Fleury , the Canal de Marquemont takes up the 10.6 km long Ru du Mesnil stream, and at Trie-Château the Troësne joins the Aunette .
