Fresneaux-Montchevreuil is a commune Déléguée in the French community Montchevreuil with 760 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France .
The municipality of Fresneaux-Montchevreuil merged with Bachivillers on January 1, 2019 to form the Commune nouvelle Montchevreuil. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Fresneaux-Montchevreuil belonged to the Arrondissement of Beauvais and was part of the Communauté de communes des Sablons and the canton of Chaumont-en-Vexin .
geography
The Commune déléguée is located around ten kilometers east of Chaumont-en-Vexin , twenty kilometers south of Beauvais and 60 kilometers from the center of Paris . Fresneaux-Montchevreuil is located on the 10.6 kilometer long Ru du Mesnil brook, which drains to the Canal de Marquemont and thus to the Troësne . The districts of L'Ormetau and Tirmont belong to it.
