Émancé is a French municipality with 880 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Rambouillet . The inhabitants are called Émancéens .
geography
Émancé is located about 54 kilometers west-southwest of Paris and about nine kilometers southwest of Rambouillet . Émancé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Hilarion in the north, Gazeran in the northeast, Orphin in the east and southeast, Écrosnes in the south, Épernon in the west and southwest and Droue-sur-Drouette in the west.
