Les Mesnuls is a French municipality with 857 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Aubergenville (until 2015: canton of Montfort-l'Amaury ). The inhabitants are called Mesnulois .
geography
Les Mesnuls is located about 22 kilometers west-southwest of Versailles on the edge of the Rambouillet forest. The municipality is part of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Nature Park . Les Mesnuls is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bazoches-sur-Guyonne in the north, Saint-Rémy-l'Honoré in the east, Les Bréviaires in the south, Saint-Léger-en-Yvelines in the west and Montfort-l'Amaury in the west.
