Corbreuse is a French commune with 1,741 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Étampes and is part of the canton of Dourdan . The inhabitants are called Corbreusois .
geography
Corbreuse is about 48 kilometers southwest of Paris . The Orge limits the community in the northwest. Corbreuse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Dourdan in the north and northeast, Les Granges-le-Roi in the east, Richarville in the southeast, Authon-la-Plaine in the south, Chatignonville and Allainville in the southwest, Saint-Martin-de-Bréthencourt in the west and Sainte -Mesme in the northwest.
