Souzy-la-Briche is a municipality in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France in France . It has 428 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). Souzy-la-Briche belongs to the Arrondissement of Étampes and the Canton of Dourdan (until 2015: Canton of Étréchy ). The inhabitants are called souzéens .

Souzy-la-Briche is located about 39 kilometers south-southwest of the center of Paris on the Rémarde . Souzy-la-Briche is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Chéron in the north and north-west, Breux-Jouy in the north and north-east, Saint-Sulpice-de-Favières in the east and north-east, Chauffour-lès-Étréchy in the south and Villeconin in the west and Southwest.
