Guillerval is a French municipality with 819 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Étampes and is part of the canton of Étampes (until 2015: canton of Méréville ). The inhabitants are called Guillervallois .
geography
Guillerval is about 57 kilometers south-southwest of Paris . Guillerval is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Étampes in the north, Saclas in the east, Le Mérévillois in the south, Monnerville in the west and south-west, Chalou-Moulineux in the west and Chalo-Saint-Mars in the north-west.
Route nationale 20 and the Paris – Bordeaux railway line run through the municipality . The Étampes-Mondésir airfield is also located in the municipality .
