Arrancourt is a French municipality with 152 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Étampes and is part of the canton of Étampes (until 2015: canton of Méréville ). The inhabitants are called Arrancourtois .
geography
Arrancourt is located about 58 kilometers south-southwest of Paris on the Éclimont . Arrancourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Abbéville-la-Rivière in the north and east, Sermaises in the south-east, Pannecières in the south and south-east, Le Mérévillois in the south and south-west and Saint-Cyr-la-Rivière in the west and north-west.
