Villeneuve-sur-Auvers is about 43 kilometers south of central Paris . The municipality is located in the Gâtinais français Regional Nature Park . Villeneuve-sur-Auvers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Auvers-Saint-Georges in the north and west, Janville-sur-Juine in the north, Cerny in the north-east, Boissy-le-Cutté in the east and Bouville in the south and south-east.
