Mauchamps is a municipality in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France in France . It has 275 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). Mauchamps is part of the Arrondissement of Étampes and the Canton of Dourdan (until 2015: Canton of Étréchy ). The inhabitants are called campuses .
geography
Mauchamps is located about 38 kilometers south-southwest of central Paris . Mauchamps is surrounded by the neighboring communities Boissy-sous-Saint-Yon in the north and north-east, Chamarande in the east and south-east, Étréchy in the south and south-west and Saint-Sulpice-de-Favières in the west and north-west.
The Route nationale 20 forms the eastern municipal boundary.
