Saint-Escobille is a French municipality with 562 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Étampes and is part of the Canton of Étampes (until 2015: Canton of Dourdan ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Escobillois .

Saint-Escobille is located about 54 kilometers south-southwest of Paris . Saint-Escobille is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Authon-la-Plaine in the north, Plessis-Saint-Benoist in the northeast, Mérobert in the east, Oysonville in the south, Sainville in the southwest and Garancières-en-Beauce in the west.
