Arne Nolting (born December 17, 1972 in Braunschweig ) is a German screenwriter .

life and career

From 1995 to 2001 Arne Nolting studied theater, film and television studies , German and political science in Marburg and Cologne . For the program " Script 2000 Fiction " he received a scholarship from the Lower Saxony script workshop . In 2001 he completed his training as a “ European Script Consultant ” according to Philip Parker. In 2005 Nolting received a grant from the Development Workshop of the European Broadcasting Union , and one year later from the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW for the EKRAN program of the Andrzej Wajda Film School in Warsaw . Also in 2006 he took part in the Writer's Room seminar with Bill Finklestein and Lee Goldberg .

Since 2000 he has been writing screenplays for various cinema and television productions, mostly together with the Cologne scriptwriter Jan Martin Scharf . You wrote several parts of the Wilsberg series and in 2015 for the award-winning television series Club der rote Bänder . In addition, from 2000 to 2010 Nolting was responsible for several scripts of Alarm for Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei .
