Maximilian Claus

Maximilian Claus , also Max Claus , (born March 1, 1982 in East Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Claus was born in Berlin-Mitte in the former People's Police Hospital (today: Bundeswehr Hospital ). He grew up in Berlin-Hellersdorf in a prefabricated housing estate .

From 2002 to 2006, Claus completed an acting training at the Theater Academy Vorpommern . After that, he initially worked exclusively as a theater actor . He played a wide repertoire on the theater stage, which included plays by William Shakespeare , the German-speaking authors of the Classical and Romantic periods , but also plays from the turn of the century, modern and contemporary theater.

He had his first permanent engagement in 2004-2006 at the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne , where he played the title role of Fiesco in The Conspiracy of Fiesco in Genoa (2004), the gangster Giuseppe Givola in Der Aufhaltsame Aufstieg des Arturo Ui (2005) and Florindo in Der Servant of two masters (2006) played.

From 2006 to 2009 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Anhaltisches Theater in Dessau (2006–2009). His stage roles there included: Peter Munk in Das kalte Herz (2006), Wurm in Kabale und Liebe (2007), Sebastian in Was ihr wollt (2007), Michael in Das Fest von Thomas Vinterberg (2007), the soldier in The Hostage of Brendan Behan (2008) and the stuttering young fellow patient Billy Bibbit in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (2009). In 2008 he took on the title role in Goethe's play Faust at the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau .

He had guest contracts at the Theater Konstanz (2010), at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm (2011) and at the Comödie Dresden (2011). In 2010 he played the title role in Arthur Schnitzler's Anatol at the Off-Theater Theaterforum Kreuzberg in Berlin-Kreuzberg . In 2011 he played the role of advertising artist and graphic artist Peter Stutz in the musical comedy Die wilde Auguste , with which he also went on tour at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm .

From June 2011 to November 2011 Claus played within the RTL - soap opera under us . He played the trainee teacher Erik Hansen and best friend of the serial character Henning Fink. In April 2012 it was announced that Claus would return to the series Unter Uns from summer 2012 . A fan group on Facebook had initiated the comeback because they had started a petition for the role of Erik Hansen.
