Herbert Ulrich (born July 24, 1971 in Starnberg ) is a German actor .

Herbert Ulrich completed his training in the Munich drama studio and took part in various workshops.

He began his career with Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten , where he played the role of homosexual Simon Nielssons from 1999 to 2000 . He then had guest appearances in the series SOKO 5113 (2001), Die Rosenheim-Cops (2002, 2006) and Hallo Robbie! (2005). He has also appeared in 2000 in the Korean film production Joint Security Area and in 2002 at the ARD -Filmproduktion Antonia with. Mostly he became known to the audience through his role in the soap opera Verbotene Liebe , where he played the lawyer Lars Schneider from 2002 to 2008 (with interruption). From September 2008 to August 2014 (episode 136 to 1367) he played the veterinarian Sebastian Wildner in the television series Dahoam is Dahoam on Bayerischer Rundfunk .

In December 2014 Ulrich was seen as folk music singer Thomas in the ZDF series Das Traumschiff in a leading role in the episode. Ulrich also made guest appearances in the ZDF series in later years. In the 17th season of the TV series Rote Rosen , Ulrich will take on the male lead as building contractor Henning Maiwald from autumn 2019.

Private

Herbert Ulrich has a daughter and is a keen athlete (surfing, skiing, snowboarding, badminton and boxing). During his break at Verbotene Liebe he built a finca on the Canary Island of Fuerteventura . Ulrich lives in Munich .
