Nelli Ayukhanová (self-chosen spelling, correct transcription of the surname: Ajuchanowa ; * 1960 - † January 5, 2007 in Cologne ; actually Ninel Ajuchanova ) was a Russian director .

Nelli Ayukhanova studied from 1979 to 1984 at the Ufa School of Art with a degree in directing with a focus on acting. From 1984 to 1991 she worked at the Ufa State Puppet Theater and also staged at the studio stage of the university there, for example Anton Chekhov's "Kirchgarten" and William Shakespeare's "What you want". For the television station "Baschkortosan" she realized the program "Good night, children!".

After moving to Germany (Cologne), she devoted herself to raising her daughter and worked as a cultural manager for the visual arts. She later shot the short film "Typisch Kölsch" in the MMC studios as a co-author and director. Her roots as a child and youth theater director prompted Ayukhanova to seek contact with the professional Cologne child and youth theater scene. The year it was first staged in Cologne, it was awarded the theater prize. Nelli Ayukhanvá was not only respected for her outstanding children's theater work, but also a highly valued colleague in the Cologne theater landscape because of her personal charisma and warm-heartedness.
