Florian Frowein (born May 7, 1988 in Wuppertal ) is a German actor .

Career

Florian Frowein first gained acting experience from 2004 to 2005 with Christoph Hilger , which was followed by workshops in "speech training" with Anna Martini and "acting" with Andreas Durban from 2005 to 2006, before he joined the TheaterLabor TraumGesicht e. V. led. From 2006 to 2010, Frowein received lessons in the fields of "acting", "speech training" and "classic role design" from Wolfgang St. Keuter. Since 2011 he has been expanding his profession with Manfred Schwabe and Hanfried Schüttler .

Frowein first stood in front of the camera in 2007 for the pilot episode of the daily soap Ahornallee . This was followed by a small appearance in the television film Frau Böhm says No and a supporting role in the series Das Haus Anubis . He became known to a wide audience through his first continuous television engagement in the ZDF telenovela Paths to Happiness - Traces in the Sand , where he could be seen from May 8 to September 28, 2012 as the forest manager Leon Schilling .

From July 2017 to March 2019 he played one of the leading roles in the ARD series Sturm der Liebe . His role Boris Saalfeld then returned in May, September, October, November 2019 and March 2020 in guest appearances. Since September 2019, he has played the role of Tim Degen , Boris' missing twin brother, in the same series and, together with Léa Wegmann, forms the protagonist couple of the 16th season.

In addition to his acting activities, Frowein completed training as a media designer in image and sound from 2008 to 2011 at the Macromedia University for Media and Communication in Cologne . He also works as a model and has already been the face of several campaigns, for example for Bungalow and Salamander .

Florian Frowein speaks fluent English as well as his mother tongue. He lives with his family in Cologne.
