After she had left her old place of work and a newly created existence in Africa was destroyed by fire, she ended up with her former partner Kai Engelhardt on Nordersund, where they jointly run the “Elephant” bar from now on.
Manolo Palma, who played the Argentine Juan Paoblo in the last episode, and Greta Galisch de Palma, who played the role of Greta Sandacker, are married in real life.
action
After a catastrophic storm surge , the friendship of the four friends Maja, Robert, Greta and Markus comes to an abrupt end. Maja then moves away with her mother, without realizing that she and Robert feel a lot for each other.
18 years later, the talented landscape gardener Maja and her partner Arthur returned to their hometown of Nordersund to put an end to the past. But when Maja and Robert meet again for the first time, the old feelings flare up again immediately. Robert now runs the parental shipping company together with his scheming stepbrother Kilian and is engaged to Greta. Young love is put to a severe test when Greta is diagnosed with a serious illness. Maja and Robert decide to suppress their feelings for each other. But she is not only concerned with love, but also with the catastrophe 18 years ago. You want to find out how this terrible accident came about.
When Greta suspects that Robert and Maja are in love, she tries to put an end to their lives. Edmund Hartwig pulls her out of the water and is henceforth her lifesaver. Hartwig's stepmother Gertrud Mahlbeck, who doesn't think much of the young man, changes her will in Greta's favor. It turns out that Greta's tumor in the head is inoperable and that she has a lifetime of at most one year. Robert and Maja manage to convince Greta that Maja's love is their partner Dr. Arthur Groth heard. Arthur plays the game and you fight your way through to grant Greta's heartfelt desire and celebrate a double wedding. The friends, who now also include Arthur Groth, want to do everything to make Greta as pleasant as possible for the rest of the time. When Edmund Hartwig visits the Ahlsens in the cliff house and meets Kilian, they both come up with the diabolical plan to eliminate Greta so that the inheritance falls back to Edmund. Kilian wants half of the million dollar inheritance for his work. He also uses Jule Sieverstedt, the daughter of Wiebke Sieverstedt, who works as a secretary in the shipping company of the Ahlsens, for his wicked plans. Jules grandparents, Ulla and Bernd Sieverstedt, also work for the Ahlsens. Kilian succeeds in making Jule so dependent on himself that she follows him blindly. Senta and Jan Ahlsen, who were close to parting with Kilian through deliberate manipulation, are so happy about their reconciliation that they decide to go on a world tour. The management of the shipping company goes equally to Kilian and Robert. Over time, the situation between the couples becomes more and more difficult, so Maja decides not to lie to Greta any longer. When she speaks of the mutual love between herself and Robert, Greta collapses unconscious.
Four years have passed when Robert and Maja invited their friends to witness the affirmation of their `` I do '', which they silently gave two years ago. The young couple now has a young son named Simon. The friends are happy that Greta was saved by a life-threatening operation and that she has found the right man for life in the Argentine Juan Paoblo, with whom she appears at the party. Both of them have built a new life for themselves in Argentina , whereby, as Greta mentions, Gertrud's legacy helped them a lot. When it came out after Greta's collapse that Kilian had brought the shipping company to the brink of ruin by transporting toxic waste , he was released from all duties on the instructions of Senta and Jan Ahlsen and shortly afterwards disappeared without a trace. Edmund Hartwig was sentenced to a long prison term. Jule had received the announcement that she is the daughter of Jan Ahlsen, "very grown up", as her mother thinks, and has meanwhile been able to develop a very good relationship with her father.
On this day Kilian reappears unnoticed through a secret passage that leads directly into his room. He finds little Simon there and lures him into the secret passage. Later in the office of the shipping company there is a scramble between the brothers, in which a shot goes off and Robert hits the arm. When Maja arrives, Kilian manages to tie them both together and threaten Maja with his weapon. He is in the process of dumping gasoline in the office when Greta manages, with the help of the alerted police officers, to free Maja and Robert from their dangerous situation. Kilian had recently confessed to them that it was he who had triggered the flood disaster in which Greta's parents had lost their lives and Maya's father had lost all courage to face life because he was the culprit. Kilian had opened the locks at the time. Full of contempt, he hurled at Robert that he had always taken everything from him and that he hated him. He took away his mother's love and always stood in his shadow. Kilian is arrested and taken away. Maja and Robert, also relieved that their little son was not harmed by Kilian's attacks, later express their love for each other in the presence of their friends. Then people laugh, talk and dance.
