Philipp Romann
Philipp Romann (born September 17, 1974 in Olten ) is a Swiss actor and theater director .
Life
He grew up in Thun and Bern and completed an apprenticeship as a commercial clerk and as a nurse. He later worked for several years in psychiatry and began studying acting at the Bern University of the Arts , which he completed in 2004. In parallel to his acting studies, he performed guest roles at various Swiss theaters. From 2004 to 2009 he played at the Lübeck Theater .
From November 2009 to September 2010 he played the role of the antagonist Philip Sachs in the television series One like none . From May 7th to September 28th 2012 Philipp Romann embodied in the ZDF telenovela Paths to Happiness - Traces in the Sand Dr. Markus Overbeck, one of the four main characters.
Philipp Romann also directed various theater productions and led workshops and youth projects.
