Andrea Cleven

Andrea Cleven (born March 15, 1978 in Northeim ) is a German actress and voice actress .

Life

Andrea Cleven grew up in Büdingen . After graduating from Wolfgang-Ernst-Gymnasium in 1997 , she moved to London , where she first studied acting and theater and had first stage appearances at Method Studio London and Goldsmiths College of the University of London . After two years she went back to Germany and studied theater studies at the FU Berlin in 1999 . She broke off this course in 2000 in favor of an acting course at the Hanover University of Music and Drama , which she completed in 2004 with a diploma . While still a student, she played the leading roles in the films Cubans Kiss Better and Hero of Gladiators .

After completing her studies, she performed at the Bremen Theater and at the Kassel State Theater . From 2005 to 2008 she was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Kassel, where she worked with directors Kay Voges , Gustav Rueb and Martin Schulze , among others . Since 2008 she has lived as a freelance actress in Berlin and works for film and television as well as guest appearances at theaters ( Bad Hersfeld Festival , Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern , Moerser Schlosstheater , Ludwigsburg Castle Festival ).

From May to September 2012 Andrea Cleven played Maja Iversen , one of the leading female roles in the first season of ZDF - Telenovela Paths to Happiness - Traces in the Sand .
