Life

Patané is the son of Sicilian parents, but has lived in Germany since early childhood. He spent his youth in Frankfurt am Main , Stuttgart and in Chiemgau . There he attended a Waldorf school and gained his first practical experience in theater at school.

After dropping out of high school, Patané first tried a university degree in fashion design . He broke off his studies in favor of acting and began training at the Manfred Riedel drama school in Stuttgart (since then the live act drama school ). Even during this training, Patané played minor roles in various short films. He was also seen in several smaller theater roles. Because of his television debut in the German television series Ein Fall für Zwei , he left drama school prematurely. He became known to a wider audience primarily through the telenovela Sturm der Liebe , in which he played the main male role of top chef Robert Saalfeld in seasons 2 and 6 . Patané made a brief appearance in the motion picture All the money in the world, directed by Ridley Scott . In 2018 he made a brief appearance as a carabiniere in Tatort Kopper and as a film producer in Tatort Meta.

Patané and his mother own an Italian restaurant and wine bar in Stuttgart.
