Fabrixx was a German children's and youth television series that played in a youth house of the same name in Stuttgart . Social issues such as lovesickness , the divorce of parents, alcohol and drug problems, racism , homelessness and unwanted pregnancy as well as the everyday life of young people were presented. With the help of the supervisor or through the solidarity among each other, the young people find solutions to their everyday and special problems, have fun and work creatively for their goals.

Charisma

The premiere of the series ran from 2000 to 2005 on different times on Saturday morning or -vormittag in the first program of the ARD . The first episode was on November 24, 2000, the 220th (last episode) was broadcast for the first time on September 17, 2005 in the first program of the ARD.

Repetitions of the series were shown on KI.KA and in the third programs of Bavarian Television (BFS), Rundfunks Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB), Südwestrundfunks (SWR), Mitteldeutscher Rundfunks (MDR) and Hessischer Rundfunk (hr).

production

The program was produced on behalf of Südwestrundfunk (SWR) by Maran Film GmbH , the Baden-Baden subsidiary of Munich-based Bavaria Film and SWR, in Stuttgart. The first two seasons (76 and 44 episodes each) were filmed in a former factory building on Pragsattel in Stuttgart at Löwentorstraße 68, the last two seasons in the former riding barracks (today: Römerkastell media center ) in Bad Cannstatt at Rommelstraße 1. The move was included in the series.

After 220 episodes, the series was discontinued in August 2004 following a decision by the ARD program editorial team in January 2004 (last day of shooting: Friday 23 July 2004), because the youth center topic was no longer usable (interview: “This decision has dramaturgical reasons : From the editors' point of view, the topic of youth clubs is exhausted. ”).

Opening credits

The opening credits of the series show the main actors with their role names. The backdrop is a concrete wall on which the program's logo is sprayed with graffiti. In the course of the series, the actors in the opening credits were occasionally replaced by others. In the second half of the series, the music used in the opening credits was also changed. The opening credits are 30 seconds long.

Theme music

First version

(na na na na na nah)
Totally weak knees, I'm going crazy,
oh, what's going on, I was
hit hard, I didn't know the feeling before,
now it has to come out: hey, I love you.
Are you frustrated, do not feel like anything,
are annoyed because it is,
everything is normal, everything is cool,
you are just you, now stand by it.
Loosen up and free yourself,
be the way you are, then you're there,
all I want is to be the way I am,
be the way you are and do your thing.
