Cecil Jonni Lauro

Cecil Jonni Lauro (short: CJL ) was a band consisting of the three sons of the musician Stephan Remmler , which was successful in Germany in 2003 with the song Everybody Cha Cha .

The three brothers Lauro, Jonni and Cecil Remmler were born in 1993, 1991 and 1988. Her father retired from the music business in 1997 to look after the family. Later he supported his sons with their band project, for example with the production in their own studio in Lanzarote.

The songs of the trio all come from their own pen. In the summer of 2003 her debut single Everybody Cha Cha was released , which reached number 28 in the German single charts and made several TV appearances, including on Top of the Pops and TV total . The pop song was presented bilingually in English and Spanish . The second single Buckle Up 'n' Chuggeluck reached number 66 on the charts. In 2004, Cecil Jonni Lauro also appeared in three episodes in the youth series Fabrixx .

An album that had been announced was no longer released because the three lost their record deal with Warner Music . The last release was a cover version of the song Da Da Da , the most successful piece by her father's band with trio , via music download . However, the piece was not released as a single.

In addition, Stephan Remmler released an album jointly produced with Cecil in July 2006, on which all three brothers can be heard in the song One must be the best , which was released as a single. On the accompanying DVD you can see Cecil and Jonni in their father's backing band. Immediately afterwards, Cecil began studying music production in Boston . Jonni Remmler concentrated on video productions.
