Cecil Remmler

Cecil Carlos Remmler (born December 12, 1988 in Basel ) is a composer , music producer and singer.

Career

Cecil Remmler is the eldest son of the German singer and music producer Stephan Remmler , who became known in the 1980s with the band Trio . At the age of eight, Cecil Remmler published under the pseudonym “Re-O-Do feat. CCR “a single on which he interpreted the most famous title of the trio: Da Da Da . In 2003, Cecil Remmler and his two brothers founded the formation Cecil Jonni Lauro , which released two singles. He later produced his 2006 album 1, 2, 3, 4 with his father ... He then moved to Boston to study music production.

In 2007, Cecil Remmler and his father wrote and produced the music for the German film Vollidiot with Oliver Pocher . Since 2007 Cecil Remmler has been producing film music a. a. for the Sat.1 series Dr. Molly & Karl and Die Sendung mit der Maus .

As a result, Cecil Remmler advanced to become a sought-after producer and composer in Germany. He composed and produced works a. a. for Edita , Adel Tawil , Keule , MoTrip , Phela or Stefanie Heinzmann . He has been part of the FNSHRS production team since 2012 . His biggest success so far was the number one hit Astronaut , which he produced and wrote for the German rapper Sido .

Remmler has been with the American pop singer Sarah Jane Scott , whom he met while studying in the USA , since 2010 and lives with her in Berlin; In 2018 the two married. His father brought Scott into the music industry and produced their music.
