Alexandra Staib (born December 4, 1985 in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt ) is a German film actress , editor , and film producer .

Life

Alexandra Staib was at a young age by their role of Jeanette Köber in the youth series fabrixx known. For the ARD children's and youth series, she was part of the main cast in front of the camera from 2000 to 2004. At the same time, she founded a musical group during her school days, for which she wrote, staged and played pieces herself. She was u. a. also engaged in the musical theater piece funkenflug in the Junge Ensemble Stuttgart and played and danced in the musical Anatevka at the Kornwestheim theater .

After graduating from high school in 2005, she gained various experiences behind the camera a. a. in SWR productions such as Tatort and Bloch and the children's series Ein Fall für BARZ . From autumn 2006 to summer 2007 she attended the Interspherial Screenwriting School and directed the production of the pilot film for Abgedmerung in Stuttgart , in which she also appeared in front of the camera as Nelly Jensen . From the collaboration with the Stuttgart scriptwriter Jørn Precht , the second part of the Stuttgart film trilogy was created in 2008, a romantic comedy called Wachgeküsst in Stuttgart . Here she wrote the script, managed production again and slipped back into the role of Nelly Jensen .

From 2007 to 2010 she studied media economics at the Stuttgart Media University . During this time, other short films, portraits and film contributions were made. She completed her practical semester with Jochen Laube at Sommerhaus Filmproduktion and at teamWorx Ludwigsburg and then worked at Zum golden Lamm Filmproduktion in Ludwigsburg.

From 2010 to 2012 she worked in the MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg in the area of ​​production funding and producer consulting. While working, she completed the moderation course at the Institute for Moderation under the direction of Wieland Backes .

In 2012 she started her master's degree in Creative Producing at the Hamburg Media School . During this time she produced the films Silent Lion and Funeral Feast . Silent Lion was shown at over 70 festivals worldwide. She produced her award-winning graduation film Sadakat in 2014 in Istanbul.

Since 2016 she has been an editor in the ZDF TV play editorial team.
