Jochen Laube (* 1978 in Ludwigsburg , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German film producer . With his film production company Sommerhaus Filmproduktion GmbH he produces feature films for cinema and television, series and documentaries . Jochen Laube is a member of the German and the European Film Academy.

Life

Jochen Laube studied production at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy and graduated in 2005 with the film Vacation from Life . From 2002 to 2003 he was a VFF scholarship holder . 2004 Caligari Prize Winner. During his studies he worked as a production assistant at Peter Greenaway's production The Tulse Luper Suitcases in Luxembourg and was involved in the Germany-wide children's cinema concept Magic Lantern by UNESCO .
