Sonbol - Rallye durch den Gottesstaat is a German documentary film by Niko Apel from 2008.

Sonbol is 35 years old and single. She has her own dental practice and also drives car rallies, preferably against men. Sonbol lives in the holy city of Mashad in the Islamic Republic of Iran. She has to fight for the life she leads, every day. Against her mother, who she wants to marry off, against the sports officials who want to forbid women from participating in the rallies, and last but not least against her own doubts as to whether God is on her side.
