Jacob David Weigert (born August 20, 1981 in Berlin ) is a German film and theater actor and voice actor .

Life

Jacob Weigert began studying acting in Hamburg in 2002 , which he successfully completed in 2005 with a ZBF examination. Since then he has played in numerous film productions as well as in theater performances. In March 2005 he was in the film adaptation of the storm surge in 1962 as The Night of the Great Flood alongside Christiane Paul and Ulrich Tukur in front of the camera. In March 2006 he played the role of Titian alongside Nadine Nollau in the two-person piece Z by Nino Harativili . In November 2006, the first engagement followed in the Deutsches Schauspielhaus as Farid in the play Inkheart . First speaking roles in dubbing, advertising and documentation, and voiceover for the documentary Germaine Tillion - A Witness of the Century about the survivors of the Ravensbrück concentration camp , joined in March 2007.

Between 2003 and 2006 he played in the plays The Persians (as King Xerxes), The Remaining Couple by Theresia Walser , Raststätte by Elfriede Jelinek , Romeo and Juliet (as Tybalt / Sir Capulet), Three Sisters (as Wersheim), Switched Off by Michael Müller, Radical Romance by Eva Maria Stüting, The translation of the heart by Michael Müller, Woyzeck (as a doctor), Agonie by Nino Haratiwili, also in Hallo Nazi (Monoblock) and Hamlet - slightly shortened (Long, Singer, Winfield; as Peter , Laertes). In 2008 she made her debut at the Hamburger Kammerspiele as Dennis Dutton in the play Zeitfenster by David Hare , directed by Ulrike Maack.

He also appeared in the EUROPA radio play series TKKG in three episodes, which appeared in 2008 and 2010. In 2010 Jumbo Verlag published the first two audio books in which he was involved: Nathan and his children by Mirjam Pressler in the role of Abu Hassan and in the wild by Roddy Doyle as the narrator from the perspective of the boys.

From May to October 2010 he played the role of Enrique Vegaz in the telenovela Anna und die Liebe . From spring 2011 to April 2012 he was there again in the same role. He was also in the main cast in the fourth season of the telenovela. At the German Soap Award , a gala event, he was named Sexiest Man .
