Gerd Ruebenstrunk , actually Hans-Gerd Rübenstrunk (born August 19, 1951 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German writer and TV writer.

biography

After graduating from high school Andreanum in Hildesheim in 1971, he first studied German and English at the Technical University of Hanover and then German, history and economics for secondary school teaching at the Bielefeld University of Education. From 1976 to 1980 he studied psychology at the Bielefeld University . After a long break, he graduated with a diploma in 1998. His diploma thesis on the computer simulation of psychological theories of emotions is used at universities as an introductory text to the topic.

From 1984 to 1995 Ruebenstrunk initially worked as a copywriter and later as a creative director for various advertising agencies. In 1995 he developed a two-hour show for the TV station VOX to introduce Microsoft Windows 95 . He then designed the weekly computer and internet show CLICK !, which he also oversaw as editor-in-chief and which was broadcast on VOX from 1996 to 1998 and moderated by Michael Gantenberg .

From 1998 to 2000 Ruebenstrunk was chief author at Endemol in Cologne for the formats How please ?! ( RTL ) and Hidden Camera ( ZDF ). In 2001 he wrote, together with Alexander Rettig, an episode for the comedy series Alles Atze .

Gerd Ruebenstrunk lives on the Lower Rhine.
