Sara Pennypacker
Sara Pennypacker (born Sara Young on December 9, 1951 in Massachusetts ) is an American children's author.
Life
Sara Young completed an artistic training. She paints watercolors and ran a gallery. She got married and has two children. In 1990 she started writing children's literature. Since then she has published almost twenty children's books under her married name Sara Pennypacker (as of 2017), including the series Clementine illustrated by Marla Frazee and translated into German by Gabriele Haefs . She publishes her adult literature under her maiden name Sara Young, a novel about the National Socialist Lebensborn program .
Sara Young lives on Cape Cod .
