Nina George (born August 30, 1973 in Bielefeld ) is a German writer and journalist who has published under the pseudonyms Anne West and Nina Kramer . Under the double pseudonym Jean Bagnol she publishes suspense literature together with her husband, the writer and chairman of the Syndicate Association , Jens J. Kramer. George's works have so far been translated into 37 languages ​​and have sold more than two million copies worldwide; Nina George is currently one of the most successful German-speaking authors abroad.

Life

Nina George has been working as a freelance writer and journalist since 1993. She was elected to the Presidium of the PEN Center Germany on May 8, 2015 with a focus on copyright . Also in 2015, George was awarded the Golden Auguste . On March 9, 2017, she was elected to the Federal Board of the Association of German Writers . She was named Book Woman of the Year 2017 by the Books Women . George lives in Berlin.
