Thomas Drechsel (born January 15, 1987 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Thomas Drechsel was discovered as a teenager at school and made his debut as an actor at the age of 12 in the movie Sumo Bruno . In 2004 he played alongside Marie-Luisa Kunst in the series Sabine! . He received his first major role in the feature film Elementary Particles (2006). There he played the young Bruno, who was portrayed by Moritz Bleibtreu as an adult .

Drechsel gained even more prominence in the German soap Gute Zeiten, Sorge Zeiten through his role as Max 'Tuner' Krüger , whom he has played since April 2009. Initially, his role was only intended as a supporting role. A year later, in May 2010, he finally switched to the main cast.

He also regularly takes part in the play Pension Schöller on the small stage in the Volkshaus Michendorf .

In spring 2015 he danced with Regina Murtasina in the eighth season of the RTL show Let's Dance . The couple took fifth place.

Thomas Drechsel currently lives in Potsdam.
