Gabriele Metzger (born October 9, 1959 in Heidelberg ) is a German actress .

biography

After graduating from the Adolf-Reichwein-Gymnasium in Heusenstamm , she studied theater studies from 1978 to 1985 , which she completed in 1990 with a doctorate in theater studies. This was followed by private acting, dance and singing lessons and finally a job as an assistant director at the Schauspiel Frankfurt. From 1980 to 1990 she played at the Schauspiel Frankfurt: “Brecht-Revue”, “The Flower of Nagasaki” and at the Fritz-Rémond-Theater Frankfurt: “The Long Night of Detectives”, Alte Oper Frankfurt: “The Yellow Sound”.

She acquired journalistic practice at the Frankfurter Rundschau . Originally, her goal was to become a director . Since 1989 she has been a presenter and announcer in the ARD , among other things she worked there as a lottery fee . In 1990 she started enjoying television. Since January 1995, Gabriele Metzger was continuously seen in her role as Charlotte Schneider , known as Charlie, on Verbotene Liebe until the series was discontinued in June 2015. This made her the "longest serving" of the series and the only actress represented in the main cast of the series from the first episode to the last episode.
