Jorge Alexis González Madrigal Varona Vila (born August 11, 1967 in Sancti Spíritus ) is a Cuban choreographer and model . In 2011 he also took on German citizenship. He has been called " catwalk - trainer in the" talent show Germany's Next Top Model known. Since 2013 he has been a member of the jury for the dance show Let's Dance .

González left Cuba at the age of 17 due to his homosexuality , which was taboo there , to study at the Comenius University in Bratislava in Slovakia . He finished the course in 1991 with a diploma. During his studies González took on various modeling jobs , especially in Prague . After completing his studies, he moved to Hamburg and has since worked as a stylist, image consultant and choreographer for fashion shows . In the latter position, he has already worked for various designers such as Laura Biagiotti and Vivienne Westwood .

In 2009 González succeeded Bruce Darnell as choreographer and trainer of the model casting show Germany's Next Topmodel under the direction of Heidi Klum . His extravagant demeanor and his unusual clothes got him a lot of media attention within a short time. The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, for example, called González the “secret star” of the show and described him as a “high-heeled shoe made flesh”.

González was a total guest on the German late night show TV several times . He also competed in the TV total Stock Car Crash Challenge in 2010 and 2011 . In 2010 he recorded a music single called Chicas Walk , which was released on the Ministry of Sound label. Since 2011 González has been playing kicking with a heart in the FC St. Pauli Allstars team against Placebo Kickers Hamburg as part of the charity game in favor of children with heart disease . In 2011 and 2012 he designed four “Chicas Walk - Party & Glamor” collections for the company's online retail in collaboration with the Bonprix fashion house . In March 2012 González had a guest appearance in two episodes of the telenovela Anna und die Liebe and in October 2012 in the ZDF series Notruf Hafenkante .

In 2012 and 2013 he promoted a hair removal product and designed the costumes for the Cuban dance show Ballet Revolución . Since 2013 he has been a member of the jury for the dance show Let's Dance and hosts the show E! Factor by Jorge González on the special interest channel E! Entertainment television . In July 2014 Jorge González got his own show Chica Walk Academy by Jorge González on VOX . In 2015 he became a jury member for the Let's Dance offshoot Stepping Out . In January 2016 he was a guest on the WDR show Zimmer frei! . In January 2017 he became part of Team Boulevard at Duell der Stars - Die Sat.1 Promiarena . He publishes a perfume collection and was a testimonial for hairstyling products from a Japanese manufacturer in 2013 .

In May 2020 he lost the star to Thomas Hayo in the ProSieben show Schlag .
