Uwe Fellensiek

Uwe Fellensiek (born August 30, 1955 in Osnabrück ) is a German actor and musician .

Life

Uwe Fellensiek was born as the son of the mining engineer Erich Fellensiek and his wife Anna. In 1960 his family moved with him to Bochum ; he attended elementary school there and then until 1971 the Theodor-Körner School . After being expelled from school, he attended the Goethe School from 1972 .

His career as a musician began with his first band Llanfaire, with whom he played at smaller parties. When he moved into a shared apartment in 1974, he made contact with the band Bertha & Friends, with whom he finally went on tour through Germany, the Benelux countries and France. On the side, he continued to attend school and passed the Abitur.

He then began studying mining in Aachen, which he broke off again. He returned to Bochum and founded the Spektrum pub there. He also studied sport and English at the Ruhr University in Bochum . After the establishment went bankrupt, he returned to music with the band Kowalski . After the release of his record Schlagende Wetter he went on tour in 1981. He started a solo project and got a contract with Virgin Records .

In 1981 Uwe Fellensiek got a role in the first Schimanski crime scene in Duisburg-Ruhrort . Then he worked for a year on the theater project A Clockwork Orange . He played in the films Egomania Island Without Hope (1986) and Wonderbeats Kings of Beat (1991). He was best known for his roles in the films Manta, Manta (1991) and Voll normaaal (1994).

Fellensiek was one of the permanent cast in the RTL television series In the Name of the Law (1996-1998). At the end of 1997 he accepted the offer for the SK Kölsch series and remained one of the main actors until the end of the series in 2006. From 2008 to 2010 he was seen in the Notruf Hafenkante series . After having a herniated disc in 2009 and a subsequent infection, he spent some time in a wheelchair. In 2010 he returned to his profession as an actor.

Uwe Fellensiek lives in Belgium and mostly dedicates himself to his music. He is the managing director of Castle Voices Entertainment. He has a son (* 1996).
