action
The policeman Leon wakes up after an unsuccessful mission in a remote forest. Here he meets other men who wonder what is being played here. Individuals and groups are hunted, shot and killed by others in order to escape.
The Ribbeck brothers plan to use the XX chromosome as the dominant human gene to create an invincible superman. To do this, they came up with the diabolical selection process. Several major criminals are sent into the Breakdown Forest, where they have to kill each other in order to survive. The whole action is financed by a billionaire who watches the spectacle from a safe distance. The last and thus strongest survivor should ultimately be used for breeding.

The film received mostly negative reviews from the public and the press.
The internet movie starts .com described the film as "poor and brainless" and "not bad enough to become the iconic Trash".
epd Film wrote that the announcement of a second part sounds like a threat, but that one admires the enthusiasm of those involved.
TV Spielfilm called the film "amateurish".
