Bert Wollersheim (born March 24, 1951 in Bonn ) became known for his work in the red light district in Düsseldorf from the 1970s. A broader public took notice of him through TV appearances through to his own docu-soap under the name "The Wollersheims - A terribly weird family!" On RTL II .

Life

Wollersheim grew up in Heimerzheim , where he learned to be a hairdresser in his father's salon . In 1969 he moved to Düsseldorf at the age of 18 . There he worked as a “celebrity hairdresser”, among others, show stars such as Dieter Thomas Heck and Rex Gildo , but also came into contact with local greats in the red light district , such as Heinrich Schäfer from Cologne .

His first club "Darlings" opened Wollersheim 1976. From the 1980s he ran the brothel "The Red Mile" ( Red Mile ) in three adjacent houses on the Rethelstraße in Düsseldorf's Duesseltal . From the mid-1990s, Wollersheim also rented stretch limousines . Also in the mid-1990s, he had to serve a prison sentence for extortionate kidnapping. He had a prostitute kidnapped after she no longer wanted to work for him and her new friend, who did not belong to the red light district, refused to pay a transfer fee demanded by Wollersheim .

In the early 2000s, WDR television broadcast a documentary about Wollersheim, followed by a report in 2008 as part of the Men TV program on DSF . In 2009, Wollersheim took part in the program The Perfect Celebrity Dinner with Susen Tiedtke , Mark 'Oh and Ricky . From February 2011 on RTL II eight-part docu-soap The Woller home - Married inclined family! on "Germany's most iconic brothel boss and his new love" Sophia Vegas broadcast.

As part of a large-scale raid, Wollersheim and a dozen alleged accomplices were arrested on July 3, 2012; a total of 80 suspects were investigated. According to investigations by the Düsseldorf public prosecutor, at least 130 suitors were first drugged in three Düsseldorf brothels and then large sums were debited with their credit cards. Complaints are said to have been threatened with compromising videos. Wollersheim, portrayed as a party animal in television reports, was probably Germany's best-known brothel boss until his arrest in 2012. In reality, he was only a partner in a limited liability company that owned the brothels, and is said to have only played a minor role in the business. The criminal police rate Wollersheim and his wife more as the figurehead of the brothels. After seven weeks, the dismissed Landgericht Dusseldorf Wollersheim after an appeal against detention from detention because it "of sufficient indications that Wollersheim been personally involved in planning and execution" was, lacking. The public prosecutor lodged a complaint with the Higher Regional Court against the lifting of pre-trial detention, but was withdrawn shortly afterwards.

After the brothels were closed by the public order office from July to November 2012, they became the property of the newly founded RGD Gastronomiebetriebe Düsseldorf GmbH . Wollersheim and his former co-partner at PRD Pensionsbetriebe Rethelstrasse Düsseldorf GmbH appeared as advisors for this new GmbH. In November 2013, was due to tax liabilities in the amount of 7.5 million euros for bankruptcy the PRD pension companies Rethelstraße Dusseldorf GmbH , operating several brothels and was involved in the Wollersheim half. Wollersheim stated that as managing director he had "nothing to do with the operational business"; he relied on his "management staff". In February 2014, he left as a consultant for RGD Gastronomiebetriebe Düsseldorf GmbH , which operated Wollersheim's former brothels.

In autumn 2014 Wollersheim opened the nudist club “Oceans” in Düsseldorf-Rath , a large brothel with planned up to 300 employees. In 2015, Wollersheim acted as a consultant for the redesign of the Laufhäuser in Flaßhofstrasse , the red light district in Oberhausen . In June 2016, Wollersheim's insolvency became known.

While a partner of Wollersheim's and another accomplice, both of whom were active in the Düsseldorf brothels, had been sentenced to long imprisonment for fraud and bodily harm in mid-2017, the Düsseldorf Regional Court ruled in March 2018 that Wollersheim had “wrongly carried out criminal prosecution measures” to be compensated from the state treasury ”.

He is the father of a daughter and a son from his first and second marriage. Wollersheim was married to Sophia Wollersheim (née Hildebrand , stage name Sophia Vegas ) for the third time from 2010 to 2017 . The couple split in 2016. In 2018 he went with his girlfriend Bobby Anne Baker, a naturopath, to the television show The Summer House of the Stars - Fight of the Celebrity Couples , after which their relationship broke up. Shortly afterwards he moved to the webcam girl Yvonne Schaufler (artist name Ginger Costello ) in Mallorca, whom he married in October 2018. At the beginning of 2019, Wollersheim filed for bankruptcy.

Wollersheim's first film roles were in the short film Agent Wu 2 and the action film Valley of the Scorpions .
