Stefan Weigl
Stefan Weigl (* 1962 in Munich ) is a German radio play and screenwriter .
He is the co-writer of the screenplay for the film Wash, Cut, Lay with Guildo Horn (1999). Stefan Weigl became known through his radio play Stripped. A life in bank statements ( WDR 2004), for which he was awarded the war blind radio play award. In 2007 his book 'Marienplatz - once a lion - always a lion' was published by the Verlag Tisch 7 and another radio play was published for the WDR: death novel On / Off . In 2008, Weigl wrote another radio play about waiting loops for telephone hotlines - "Wait a minute, that will interest you!" (WDR). In 2009, this piece received both the ARD German Radio Play Award and the ARD Online Award at the ARD Radio Play Days , which the audience can vote on on the Internet. In 2014 Weigl received the Prix Europa for his script for the capitalism satire Zeit der Kannibalen , and in 2015 the German Film Prize in gold.
