Katrin Lange (writer)
Katrin Lange (born November 27, 1942 in Berlin ) is a German writer .
Life
Katrin Lange studied theater studies , then worked as a dramaturge and assistant director at various theaters in Karl-Marx-Stadt , Dresden and Berlin and did her doctorate on "Theater on TV". She has been a freelance writer since 1982 and lives in Berlin.
She mainly publishes dramatic texts (plays, radio plays, scripts for several films). Her children's play Ikar - on water, on land and in the air , premiered in Leipzig, was premiered in London in 2019 under the different title ICARUS in English.
